A Mandatory Contact List is a contact list created on CiraSync On Premise that is made up of a data source and contacts in Active Directory that is pushed to specified users. The following shows how to create a basic Mandatory Contact List.

Instructions

1. Click Mandatory Contact List in the quick-access toolbar at the top of the page.

  • Note: You can also navigate to Unified Contact Management in the left navigation panel and select Mandatory Contact List from there. 

 

2. Click the + button in the Mandatory Contact List panel near the top-right corner of the window to create a new list. This action will open the Mandatory Contact List creation window.

3. Enter a name for the list in the Name field.

4. Click Select under the Source Mandatory Contacts field. The Source Mandatory Contact Field window will open.

5. Click the folder icon in the left panel. The window will now display all the Contact Collections that have been created in your tenant.

6. Drag and drop the desired Contact Collection from the All Collections field into the Members field.

  • Note: This Contact Collection will serve as the data source for the Mandatory Contact List.

7. Click Save to confirm the selection. You will be redirected back to the Mandatory Contact List creation window.

8. Click Select in the Target: Authorized Recipients field. The Target – Mandatory Contact List window will open.

9. Click the folder icon in the left panel. The window will now display all the Contact Collections created in your tenant.

10. Select the Contact Collection that will receive the Mandatory Contact List.

11. Click Save to return to the Mandatory Contact List creation window. Click Save again to finalize the process. Itrezzo will begin caching the newly created Mandatory Contact List.

  • Note: Your Mandatory Contact List will appear in the Mandatory Contact List grid within a few minutes.
