itrezzo Onboarding & QuickStart Guide

This guide provides step-by-step instructions to prepare your Microsoft Windows Server for CiraSync On Premise, ensuring a smooth and efficient setup process.

Note: If you are configuring CiraSync On Premise for a cloud-only environment (e.g., syncing directly to Office 365 mailboxes via Azure AD), these instructions can be skipped. In such cases:

  • The system account will be used to start CiraSync On Premise services.
  • The Itrezzo Server Admin user will access the CiraSync On Premise Admin application.
  • Additional role-based users can be added through the CiraSync On Premise Admin Security configuration.

Instructions: Adding the Service Account to the CiraSync On Premise Server

1. Open the Computer Management tool on your server.

2. In the navigation pane, expand Local Users and Groups to reveal its options.

3. Select Groups from the expanded menu to display the available groups.

4. Locate the Administrators group, right-click on it, and select Add to Group. This action will open the Administrator Properties window.

5. Within the Administrator Properties window, click the Add button to proceed.

6. In the field labeled Enter the object names to select, type the name of the service account that you created for Itrezzo.

7. Click the Check Names button to verify the service account. If the account is correctly identified, click OK to continue.

8. To finalize the process, click Apply and then OK to save your changes.
